Summer School Forms Are Here!!

Students: If you plan, or need, to attend summer school at Golden Valley, Saugus, or Hart High School, the summer school forms are now available.  You can find the forms HERE.  There are also a limited number of applications in the counseling office.  If you got a grade of  D or F in a class last semester, or are currently struggling in a course, you should visit your counselor immediately to discuss your summer school options.  Please note: once you have turned in your summer school form to your counselor, your work is not done!  There is an online registration and orientation meeting that you must attend.  More information about this can be found on the summer school application packet.

If you would like to attend summer school at OFL or Mission View, you must see your counselor to pick up an application and get a copy of your transcript.  These forms can’t be found online. OFL and Mission View are both independent study programs.  They are not ideal programs if you are already struggling with course material.  In almost all cases, we will recommend that you take your courses through the Hart District where you attend classes daily for maximum learning. If you are approved for an independent study course, please note that you must also complete the online registration and turn in the completed application to the OFL or Mission View office.

If you are hoping to take a class at COC over the summer, please make sure you have completed the online application and completed the orientation before going to your counselor to get your concurrent enrollment form signed.  If you need help with the process of applying for COC, please visit THIS link

Classes for all programs fill up quickly.  Don't wait to turn in your summer school applications!  Please check Infinite Campus to confirm academic progress.  Any D grades in classes needed to fulfill the A-G requirements will need to be redone.  Any failed courses must be retaken.  If you have any questions or concerns, please see your counselor.
