Speech Scholarship Competition

The Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association is offering three scholarships ($1,000, $750 and $500) to the winning seniors who enter the speech competition. The topic is “Has our country lived up to Lincoln’s call to support the welfare of its veterans?” You will need to submit your written speech by April 1, 2015 to the CHS Counseling Office.  You will be notified if your speech is accepted by April 8.  If your speech is selected, you will participate in the oral competition at West Ranch High School on April 14, in the Theatre/Auditorium.
